Professor Amponsah-Tawiah Kwesi born and raised in Tema but hails from the Central Region of Ghana.
He attended his basic school at Tema Parents Association School, continued to Adisadel College and then to The University of Ghana, Legon where he graduated with a 1st degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Psychology. He furthered his education at the University of Nottingham where he pursued PHD in Psychology.
He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School as well as the Head of Department of the Organization and Human Resource Management at the University of Ghana, Legon.
He is an Applied Psychologist and an Occupational Health and Safety specialist, with considerable research and consultancy experience in Organizational Development and Change Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, Organizational Behavior Management and Psycho-social issues at the workplace.
He believes that people should take responsibilities for their actions and not to apportion blames on others.
He hopes for an Africa where citizenship is inculcated in children so that they do not grow to become a burden but responsible citizens.
He loves to play tennis and loves to play draft.
