Moses Baiden on the Daakye Kanea video podcast has expressed his admiration for Aliko Dangote. He said this when he was asked about an African leader who has had an impact on him.
He continued by saying that all young leaders need is confidence and to be passionate about themselves and go global with whatever business they do.
Aliko Dangote is someone Mr Baiden believes has proven the above statement.
“It is not about our color, it’s about how enlightened we are, how passionate we are and how we will be able to assemble knowledge around the things that we want to develop.

And he has proven that he will go global so I think the biggest thing in Africa is we need confidence in ourselves and we need to be productive” Mr. Baiden explained.
He continued by saying that our destiny lies in our own hands and so we do not need to be beggars before we become successful.
“We don’t need to be beggars we rather like to give than to receive. We can have our own destiny in our own hands if we eschew this mentality of dependency and entitlement and we stick to the rational legal framework and focus on getting better economies and providing a much more equitable and stable society”. He affirmed.
