The quiz mistress of the Ghana National Science & Mathematics Quiz Prof. Elsie Effah Kaufmann has advised young people to work hard with consistency and diligence if they want to be successful because nothing comes on a silver platter on the Daakye Kanea video podcast.

According to her, young people erroneously believe that everything comes quickly on a silver platter. Professor Elsie cited instances, where most youths wish to assume a “boss position” immediately after their graduation from school, which she opines, does not work that way.

“So, the advice I have for the younger people is to note that if you want to be successful in a sustainable manner it takes a long time period of hard consistent work diligence, having a goal and then slowly working towards that goal” she advised.

She continued by saying that success does not come overnight. But with hard work and making good use of the resources available and setting a goal and working towards them, one will succeed.
