Senior lecture at the University of Ghana Business School and resourced political analyst Dr. Kobby Mensah has advised that people who seek to lead in Africa must define their scope because the world is competing for resources and ideas in an interview on the ‘Daakye Kanea Leadership Podcast’.

‘The African leader must define their scope because we have a world that is competing not only for resources but for ideas and so for an African leader to stand out from the crowd of mediocrity, you want to have a leader that is clear in their mind, what it is that they want to do and pursue that with boldness’ he said.

He added that as a leader your bold vision can establish your leadership in history. ‘What will establish your leadership in history, whether you were bold, you were focused and setting agenda and even if you didn’t actually complete that agenda can people define you by that bold vision that you had. If you lose that I don’t think you will be in history’ he explained
